Spherical-shaped Y2O3:Eu3+ nanoparticles with intense photoluminescence emission

摘要: Abstract Herein we report on the crystallized nanoparticles based Eu 3+ -doped Y 2 O 3 with 5 mol% using citric acid as precursor. The heating temperatures were evaluated in order to obtain best size around 12 nm and highest red intense photoluminescence emission. Nanocrystallite was calculated by Scherrer׳s equation diffractogram of material heated at 750 °C for 4 h, obtaining 8 nm. low emissions attributed presence quenchers remaining from precursors used synthesis. In general properties emission excitation spectra profile. Rietveld refinement performed annealed visualization cubic structure obtained. centered crystalline obtained ion host lattice verified being dependent temperature C S 6 site symmetry present structure. CIE chromaticity diagram x y 0.682 0.316, respectively, relative intensity.
