摘要: Cationic contact-killing is an important strategy for creating antimicrobial surfaces that prevent viable bacteria attachment. Recent studies have shown highly swollen, compliant resist bacterial attachment and a sufficient density of mobile cationic charge can effectively disrupt cell membranes. Polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEMs), popular coating system surface modification, been used to kill through the incorporation or leaching biocides.
