摘要: This article examines the communication networks within and between science technology studies (STS) history of science. In particular, journal relatedness data are used to analyze some structural features their disciplinary identities relationships. The results first show that, although is more than half a century older STS, size STS network twice that network. Further, while majority journals in connected by weak ties, about consists strong ties. thus cohesive relatively cohesion associated with comparatively high degrees intra-disciplinary communication, but ties only few related disciplines. analysis also shows very members cliques situated on shortest path both specialties.
