摘要: Abstract The behaviour of the prime mover in a low-grade energy Rankine-cycle engine is one most important factors affecting overall system performance. A survey published data concerning various types expander use Rankine engines and an analysis based on concept similarity shows that, for low power outputs, positive-displacement expanders have potential advantages when compared with turbines. However, multi-vane (i.e. MVE) offers considerable promise as appropriate organic utilizing solar or waste heat inputs, especially developing countries. features characteristics MVE's are discussed, together operational problems remaining to be solved.
