摘要: Recent advances in methodology have resulted a much better understanding of the speciation metals natural waters. However, despite realization that elements is important terms bioavailability and toxicity, progress relationships between metal levels organisms those environment has been slow. Furthermore, emphasis generally placed on bioaccumulation toxicity dissolved metals, although many sediment particles or food may be most sources. The ability aquatic to accumulate from number different sources complicates organismenvironment relationships. In addition, these are markedly influenced by differing capacities metabolise metals. Thus, variations toxicities species depend not only but also physiological state organism. It evaluate within framework their roles as essential (for example Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn, Co) non-essential (Hg, Cd, Ag) bearing mind some can exert beneficial effects at low concentrations harmful ones higher levels.
