摘要: A great difference between managed forest and natural is the amount of dead wood. To maintain biodiversity practice artificial creation high-stumps has been established as a common measure in thinning operations. In this study I try to show benefits measure, calculate cost opinions about it. Studying previous research that many endangered species are dependent wood they have specific requirements quality. Artificial creations operations can´t see all these but contribute by continuous provision spatial distribution. The calculated net loss value for single tree. very low artificially create which makes it cost-efficient, especially comparison with other measures like set-asides. shows positive attitude contractors pointed out risk damage from insects drawbacks. More information demanded. Based on call operations, should vary ways norm creating three per ha be raised considerably.
