摘要: Experiments with D-glucose-6-P stereospecifically tritiated at C-6 showed that the myo-inositol-1 P synthase reaction catalyzed by both enzyme from beef testis and pollen of Lilium longiflorum proceeds stereospecific loss pro-6R incorporation pro-6S hydrogen into product. The ring closure thus occurs in a retention mode substrate, finding variance an earlier report, but agreement stereochemistry recently determined for Streptomyces flavopersicus general stereochemical operation aldolases.
