摘要: Angiogenesis is important in cancer progression. Promising results clinical trials have indicated that targeting vascular epidermal growth factor (VEGF) signaling may prolong lung patient survival. In particular, various studies implicated VEGFA as a potential prognostic marker cancer, although prognostication using the expression of VEGF receptors (VEGFRs), such fms-related tyrosine kinase 1 (FLT1; also known VEGFR1) and insert domain receptor (KDR; VEGFR2), has produced varied different studies. The present study aimed to investigate significance these three factors, alone or combination. mRNA data were extracted from four independent cohorts totaling 583 patients, association between survival was investigated by performing statistical analyses. When VEGFA, FLT1 KDR considered alone, only demonstrated significant with consistently across all datasets (P<0.05). Patients high one two associated significantly worse than patients expressing low levels particular Notably, level genes their tumor specimens shorter time compared exhibiting one, indicate its be required for Therefore, factors should together indicator patients.
