摘要: Summary. Laparoscopic sperm recovery from the pouch of Douglas and tubal fimbriae was performed in 64 infertile couples. Spermatozoa were recovered 16/35 couples investigated after AIH, 13/29 post coitum. The method insemination had no effect on result, which positive 45\m=.\3%of all couples, although AIH did result significantly larger numbers peritoneal spermatozoa. number spermatozoa not show any direct correlation with inseminated, but there reductions along tract 5\m=.\83(\m=+-\1\m=.\14s.d.) orders magnitude for total count, 5\m=.\52(\m=+-\1\m=.\21s.d.) motile Only motility a significant influence success transport; patients densities as low 3\m=.\0and 3\m=.\5\m=x\106/ml, 56 44% No cycle day within range \m=+-\4days ovulation transport found. In 45 routine semen analyses apparently completely normal, incidence still only 49% (22/45), suggesting that failure may have been causative factor their infertility.
