摘要: Studies were conducted to determine the nutritional value of lysinoalanine for rats and chicks lanthionine chicks. For each experiment, purified crystalline amino acid diets employed. Results indicated that lysine moiety is completely unavailable rat only partially available chick. Of 10 fed lysinoalanine, seven developed nephrocytomegaly. The studies cysteine 32% when as racemic mixture 52% L-DL-isomeric mixture. Thus, it appears formation in alkali-treated proteins results a corresponding decrease nutritionally lysine. However, formed under similar conditions loss one-half level cysteine.
