摘要: Internationally there is an increased need to come up with new therapeutics counteract cases of microbial resistance which diminishing successes current pharmaceuticals. Traditional medicines have been in use since time memorial and they offer better options as a source lead compounds compared synthetic designs libraries. The aim this study was evalua te antibacterial anti - inflammatory activity TLC isolated phytocompounds from Zanthoxylum humile roots. Disc diffusion method employed determine while micro plate serial dilution used evaluate the minimum i nhibitory concentration crude fractions. Anti ascertained by nitrite assay. present results reveals that roots consist against both gram positive negative bacteria. can be explained terms alkaloids, saponins, tannins flavonoids extracts. isolates revealed significantly greater antibacteria l standard drugs cotrimoxazole ndomethacin. Results authenticate primary health care needs. Presence such flavonoids, saponi ns, tannins, terpenoids steroids supports its medication for diarrhea, hypertension, diabetes , coughs flu antivenins snake bites. presence various bioactive makes promising plan t may answer resistance.
