Thin-layer chromatography of pitch and a petroleum vacuum residue: Relation between mobility and molecular size shown by size-exclusion chromatography

摘要: A coal tar pitch and a petroleum vacuum residue have been separated by TLC using pyridine, acetonitrile, toluene pentane to develop the chromatograms. The bands of material detected were recovered in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) solvent examined size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) NMP eluent. relation between elution time SEC mobility on plate indicated that molecular size increased steadily with increasing immobility plate. This was reinforced UV fluorescence spectroscopy moved longer wavelengths immobility. excluded from porosity column remains undefined; some found all fractions both samples. valley zero intensity separating retained may suggest change structure near-planar region three-dimensional region.
