摘要: The cytokine macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) is inducibly secreted by immune cells and certain other cell types to critically participate in the regulation of host response. However, MIF does not contain a N-terminal signal sequence mechanism secretion unknown. Here we show model endotoxin-stimulated THP-1 monocytes that enter endoplasmatic reticulum inhibited monensin or brefeldin A, demonstrating occurs via non-classical export route. Glyburide probenicide but typical inhibitors protein strongly block secretion, indicating pathway involves an ABCA1 transporter.
