摘要: Abstract Background Echocardiographic parameters to predict pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP) in mitral regurgitation (MR) are not yet elucidated. We reported that PCWP could be accurately estimated by novel KT index which is defined as log 10 [left atrial (LA) emptying function (EF)/LA volume]. examined the usefulness of a predictor primary and secondary MR with sinus rhythm also fibrillation. Methods LA dimension, strain, volume, EF, E / e ′ were measured moderate severe ( n = 58, age: 67 ± 8 years) fibrillation = 24, 69 ± 11 just before catheterization normal subjects = 26, 67 ± 11 using speckle tracking echocardiography. was divided into = 27) = 31). The (ePCWP) calculated 10.8–12.4 × KT index. Results There correlation between ′, minimum volume index, active LAEF, total or strain r = 0.32, = 0.31, = 0.55, = −0.61, = −0.51, = −0.50, respectively, p = 0.70, = 0.67, = 0.58, 15 mmHg cut-off 16 mmHg. Conclusion ePCWP reliable echocardiographic parameter might useful may have an incremental value clinical setting.
