摘要: Laying performance of Single Comb White Leghorn (SCWL) chicks fed diets containing blood meal supplemented with isoleucine from hatch to ten weeks age (WOA) was evaluated. In 4 replicates, 480 SCWL were corn-based whose protein sources 100% soybean (control), (BM), 50% meal+50% (SMBM), and alfalfa (AMBM). These contained 2,900kcal metabolizable energy (ME) per kg 20% crude (CP). Blood comprised 16.8, 11.0 14.3% the dietary composition in BM, SMBM, AMBM diets, respectively. At 11-14, 15-18 19-46WOA birds all treatment groups corn-soy based 3,000, 3,080 ME/kg 17.5, 16.5, 17% CP, The provided a 23, 8, 16 hr light regimen at 0-10, 15-46WOA, Feed water free choice mortality recorded as it occurred. first egg, observed for age, body weight egg weight. Thereafter hen-day production, weight, mass, grade, internal quality shell thickness measured over five 28-day laying periods. Birds BM had 6.08, 5.24 2.63% higher (P<0.05) production than those control, AMBM, SMBM Mean mass 5.65, 5.49 2.34% that birds, Therefore, feeding 0-10WOA significantly improved their subsequent performance, but depressed thickness.
