Psychophysical influences on the validity of anomaloscopic assessments of color vision.

摘要: Anomaloscopes are used in clinical and research applications involving the assessment of color vision. Output data include matching range (MR), midpoint, anomaly quotient (AQ). The latter is commonly to compare obtained using different instruments. However, midpoint AQ ultimately depend on MR, for which there no universal operational definition. In this study, 5 volunteers with normal vision each completed 510 trials a rating task an anomaloscope employing Moreland equation. aim was investigate nature perceptual transition into, out of, metameric match.
