摘要: A critical, contextual approach to the criminal law has always been most appropriate way teach students about crime. This now coheres with pedagogical milieu of Threshold Learning Outcomes (TLOs) and graduate attributes, which requires schools go beyond legal doctrine delve into contexts skills. Six Law TLOs are stipulated in Australian Teaching Council's Bachelor Laws Academic Standards Statement. These include Knowledge TLO, states that graduates should be able demonstrate knowledge 'principles values justice' 'broader issues arise'; Thinking Skills mandates engage critical analysis.
