摘要: To review how the media frames obesity and effect it has upon on public perceptions. The scientific health understanding of increasingly points away from individual behaviors toward medical community factors, but diffusion this knowledge is slow. Growing awareness importance body positivity driving attention to harms weight bias fat shaming. Health science reporting related obesity, nutrition, physical activity tends perpetuate myths misunderstandings. Moving forward, greater accurate messages about evidence-based interventions will be essential for progress reduce suffering impact chronic disease.
