摘要: Activity level and gait parameters during daily life are important indicators for clinicians because they can provide critical insights into modifications of mobility function over time. Wearable activity monitoring has been gaining momentum in health assessment. Consequently, this study seeks to validate an algorithm the classification activities a detailed analysis older adults. A system consisting inertial sensor combined with pressure sensing insole developed. Using that we previously validated semi structured protocol, 10 healthy elderly participants were recorded compared wearable reference 4 h recording period at home. Detailed calculated from sensors. Dynamics physical behavior characterized using barcodes express measure behavioral complexity. based on led 93% accuracy classifying basic life, i.e., sitting, standing, walking. Gait emphasizes importance metrics such as foot clearance Results also underline measures performance complementary, especially since not correlated Participants gave positive feedback regarding use instrumented shoes. These results extend previous observations showing concurrent validity shoes body-worn daily-life
