Design philosophy for nanoelectronic systems, from SETs to neural nets

摘要: This paper describes an overall policy for the design of nanoelectronic systems, showing how specific properties quantum devices can be exploited instead being counteracted, by introducing unconventional approaches. Single-electron tunnelling (SET) circuit ideas, as components neural networks, are described in more detail. It is argued that orthodox theory single-electron not appropriate and simulation, needs reconsideration. An overview SET designs nodes given.
