摘要: Abstract Diatomite filter aids were prepared using raw diatomite and various fluxes. The effects of composition, amount granularity the flux on micro-structure filtration performance studied. Filter with high flow rate filtrate clarity successfully obtained when 7 wt. % Na2CO3 was employed. It shown that opal in converted to cristobalite presence at 1000 °C, being similar formative process silicate glass. additive alkali ions from are believed partially break Si O chains a temperature then recombine broken structure hexatomic ring mesh during cooling process, which is significative control phase composition for preparation aids.
