摘要: Abstract Room temperature stabilized β-cristobalite ceramic has great potential to use in production of engineering materials due its high resistance thermal shock and low expansion coefficient with chemical density. The material was investigated from the mixture purified diatomite doped alumina calcium ions obtained nitrates. purification achieved by hot acid leaching grade silica powder (98 wt.% SiO 2 ). β-phase composition designed as Si 1− x Al Ca /2 O where varied 0.02–0.1. uniaxially pressed at 15 kPa, later sintered different temperatures (1000−1300 °C) times (1 min 72 h). prepared which  = 0.05 sintering applied for 24 h have promising properties: is almost linearly found ∼11.42 × 10 −6  °C −1 . High leads cristobalite crystallization thus stability product sample decreased.
