摘要: An interrupt driven peripheral controller (103) for use in an Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) compatible computer provides a system to minimize power consumption as compared conventional controllers. The utilizes internal (110) which responds inputs from ISA microprocessor host (102), keyboard (112), mouse, and other devices connected the I/O ports of computer. register generates any time one or more controlled by is activated. enters low mode if no interrupts are detected predetermined period time. When interrupt, activated its services device have caused interrupt.
