摘要: This study illustrates the applicability of dynamic light scattering (DLS)-based optical microrheology in generating new insights into rheological response dilute protein solutions as they start to form insoluble aggregates under influence a thermal stress. The technique is also shown provide quick method for measuring viscosity solutions. microrheological technique, which based on DLS with improved single detection, here capture rich dynamics these systems, where traditional mechanical rheometry cannot be effectively employed due low torque generation and high sample volume requirements more widely known diffusing wave spectroscopy not desirable required probe particle concentrations careful consideration must given tracer surface chemistry, concentration size order extract out responses that are truly representative underlying microstructure. We outline procedure ensuring pitfalls inherent this type measurement avoided.
