摘要: Aspen (Po/>ulus tremuloides Michx.) and balsam poplar (P. balsamifera L.) represent about 40% of Alberta's forest resources, but utilization is only 1% the total available. Decay slain are two major factors limiting these species. Major decay-causing agents types decay aspen reviewed, implications for management discussed.
