摘要: We examined heterogeneity in BMI trajectory classes among youth and variables that may be associated with class membership. used data from seven rounds (1997–2003) of the 1997 National Longitudinal Survey Youth (NLSY97), a nationally representative, longitudinal survey people born between 1980 1984 who were living United States 1997. The analyses based on an accelerated design. General growth mixture modeling implemented Mplus (version 4.1) was to identify subtypes trajectories over time. Four distinct identified. Class 1 includes at high risk for becoming obese by young adulthood (at age 12 23, ∼67 90%, respectively, are classified as obese, almost 72% will have had ≥ 40 some time during this developmental period). 2 moderate-to-high ∼55 68%, obese). 3 low-to-moderate (i.e., ∼8 27%, 4 low (few these any These results highlight importance considering early interventions those most adverse health consequences excess weight.
