摘要: Background. Lacking awareness of biliary variations causes complications in adult living donor liver transplantation. The study was performed to determine the diagnostic value preoperative multidetector computed tomographic cholangiography (MDCT-CA). Methods. MDCT-CA after intravenous administration meglumine iodipamide 12 potential donors. MDCT angiography added depict topographic relationship between and vascular structures. findings were correlated with intraoperative (n=7). Results. all patients. Nine patients revealed variants anatomy: drainage from segment four into right hepatic duct (n=4), additional segmental ducts draining common (n=4) or left (n=2), trifurcation at upper confluence (n=1). Biliary topography variable well depicted. Intraoperative assessment confirmed findings. Conclusions. Variations anatomy appear be rule rather than exception. represents a noninvasive means for accurately assessing morphology.
