摘要: Aims: To investigate roles of quorum-sensing (QS) system in Acinetobacter sp. strain DR1 and rifampicin-resistant variant (hereinafter DR1R). Methods Results: The generated three putative acyl homoserine lactones (AHLs), while the DR1R produced only one signal QS production was abrogated aqsI (LuxI homolog) mutant. hexadecane-degradation biofilm-formation capabilities DR1, DR1R, mutants were compared, along with their proteomic data. Proteomics analysis revealed that AHL lactonase responsible for degrading highly upregulated both mutant, also showed several proteins, including ppGpp synthase, histidine kinase sensors, might be under control signalling. Interestingly, hexadecane-biodegradation abilities reduced more profoundly These altered phenotypes mutant restored via addition free wild-type cell supernatant exogenous C12-AHL. Conclusions: contributes to hexadecane degradation biofilm formation. Significance Impact Study: This is first report demonstrate a specific appears critical factor formation DR1.
