摘要: Delimitation of closely related species is often hindered by the lack discrete diagnostic morphological characters. This exemplified in bumblebees (genus Bombus). There have been many attempts to clarify bumblebee taxonomy using alternative features characters such as wing shape, DNA, or eco-chemical traits. Nevertheless each approach has its own limitations. Recent studies used a multisource gather different lines speciation evidence order draw strongly supported taxonomic hypothesis bumblebees. Yet, resulting status not independent selected and consensus methodology (i.e. unanimous procedure, majority, weighting evidence). In this article, we compare conclusions for group taxonomically doubtful (the Bombus lapidarius-group) obtained from four commonly delimitation (geometric morphometric genetic differentiation assessment, sequence-based methods cephalic labial gland secretions). We ultimately aim assess usefulness these components an integrative decision framework delimit species. Our results show that analyses based on shape do delineate any obvious cluster. contrast, nuclear/mitochondrial, methods, secretions are congruent with other. allows setting up establish subspecies within
