摘要: Background: Recent studies on pharmacoresponsive epilepsies demonstrate specific memory, executive functions and psychosocial deficits in this group. These are often under-treated little is known about the neuropsychological factors that may support moderation of through intervention. The aim study was to explore effects a structured cognitive behavioral group intervention both memory emotional domains, evaluate influencing its efficacy. Methods: This feasibility implemented newly designed for children with (N=33, aged 9-14 years, 51% girls), hypothesizing symptoms sensitive using modules weekly session setting. Comparable assessments were used performance at baseline post-intervention. Results compared age education-matched healthy controls (N=27, years). Results: Pre-Post comparisons show improvements STM (p<0.01, Ƞ²=0.358), optimism (p<0.05, Ƞ²=0.245) self-efficacy Ƞ²=0.164). Unique negative relations between phenotype seen epilepsy patients not response Executive moderated effect Ƞ²=0.252), whereas status pharmacological profile did not. Conclusions: Cognitive therapy focusing perceptions seem promising, greater improvement functioning more affected functions.
