The effect of dialysis on the Zinc, Copper, Selenium Aluminium and Lead blood levels in dialysis patients in Ahwaz during 2011-2012

摘要: Background: Variations in the blood levels of trace elements are reported as a problem dialysis patients. This may result deficiency some or overloading other elements. study aimed to evaluate effect on level variations Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Magnesium and two heavy metals, Aluminium Lead. Materials Methods: was performed 33 patients referred Ahwaz (Iran) hospital. Serum samples for all except lead (whole blood) were assayed using atomic absorption spectroscopy before after dialysis.
