摘要: Some host–guest complexes of cucurbit[n]uril (CB[n]) host molecules act as supramolecular amphiphiles (SAs), which hierarchically self-assemble into various nanomaterials such vesicles, micelles, nanorods, and nanosheets in water. The structures functions the can be controlled by engineering complexes. In addition, functionalization at periphery CB[6] CB[7] generates CB[n]-based molecular (MAs) that also vesicles or micelle-like nanoparticles Taking advantage cavities CBs their strong guest recognition properties, surface self-assembled easily decorated with functional tags a non-covalent manner. this feature article, two types (SAs MAs) CB-based amphiphiles, self-assemblies applications for nanotherapeutics theranostics are presented future perspectives.
