摘要: Analysis and modeling of impedance spectroscopy data ferroelectric BaTi2O5 single crystal has been carried out at temperatures both below above the Curie temperature, TC. The most appropriate equivalent circuit is found to consist a parallel combination resistor (R), capacitor (C), constant phase element (CPE). Below TC, resistance R too large measure simplifies C–CPE. Above shows Arrhenius behavior with low values conductivity, eg ∼4×10−7 S cm−1 800 K high activation energy, 1.13(2) eV, represents thermally activated dc hopping process associated leakage transport either electrons or holes through lattice. C frequency-independent, passes maximum ferroelectric–paraelectric transition TC∼475 °C, limiting frequency capacitance attributed response individual dipoles that are responsible for ferroelectricity.
