摘要: Background Compulsive sexual behavior (CSB) is estimated to affect 3% 6% of adults, although limited information available on the true prevalence and impact CSB in young adults. This epidemiological study aims estimate health correlates using a large sample students. Methods The survey examined behaviors their consequences, stress mood states, psychiatric comorbidity, psychosocial functioning. Results was 2.0%. Compared with respondents without CSB, individuals reported more depressive anxiety symptoms, higher levels stress, poorer self-esteem, rates social disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity compulsive buying, pathological gambling, kleptomania. Conclusions common among adults associated symptoms anxiety, depression, range impairments. Significant distress diminished behavioral control suggest that often may have significant morbidity.
