摘要: Abstract Objective The current study evaluated several psychometric properties of the Yale–Brown Obsessive–Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) (Goodman et al., 1989 [ 1 ]) adapted for compulsive sexual behavior (CSB) in a sample 103 men seeking treatment at private and public university clinic United States. Method Measures mental health functioning were collected from patients on two separate appointments: initial screening follow-up appointment. Results All reported using pornography compulsively, approximately half also history having frequent anonymous sex with strangers. found that Y-BOCS had good internal consistency reliability, moderate mean inter-item correlations, test–retest reliability. multiple regression analysis affect dysregulation (depression anxiety), particularly among single, impaired men, was significantly associated more severe obsessive features. Approximately 94% met criteria least one psychiatric disorder, 57% or disorders. Conclusions Findings suggest CSB-Y-BOCS is reliable measure symptoms CSB, clinicians researchers could use this scale to aid assessment problematic behaviors.
