摘要: Precision medicine (PM) is currently placed at the center of global attention following decades research towards improvement medical practice. The subject this study was to examine whether trend had emerged earlier, in fact if fundamentals PM can be traced back ancient Greek era. For reason, we studied collection all Hippocratic texts, called Corpus Hippocraticum, using original translations, and attempted an interpretation authors context modern concept PM. most important points located passages were: (1) not 'absolute', thus its directions cannot generalized everybody, (2) each human body/organism different responds differently therapy; therefore, same treatment suitable for everybody (3) physician should choose appropriate treatment, depending on patients' individual characteristics, such as health status life style (activities, diet, etc.). Although 'precision medicine' from description, latter derived well-established experimental conclusions, it becomes apparent that there a common conception, aiming achieve more effective healing by focusing individual.
