摘要: Security can mean different things in a application context. For decades, gaming has been major computer with its own distinct characteristics, and fact, online is now one of the most popular applications on Internet. However, there are few systematic treatments security concerns gaming. In this paper, we briefly trace history games. Then, examine role that played games, from early mainframebased games through arcade, PC console to latest Online cheating widely considered new concern it not as well understood by experts might expect. systematically investigate We identify common forms they have occurred or occur then define taxonomy game respect underlying cause (namely what exploited?), consequence (what type failure be achieved?) principal (who cheat?). One our findings four traditional aspects – confidentiality, integrity, availability authenticity insufficient explain consequences fairness vital additional aspect.
