摘要: BACKGROUND: Individuals with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) are reported to experience more symptoms compatible psychopathologic disorders, abnormal personality traits, and psychological distress. Conversely, individuals psychiatric disorders report higher levels of gastrointestinal (GI) IBS. Thus, distress may contribute GI in OBJECTIVES: To examine women IBS, similar but not diagnosed (IBS nonpatients, IBS-NP), asymptomatic Control women. METHODS: The (N=97) were interviewed, completed questionnaires, maintained daily diaries for 2 months. Across-women within-woman analyses used calculate the results.
