摘要: The distribution and attachment of Trypanosoma congolense were investigated in the proximal part proboscis Glossina m. morsitans. In food canal, epimastigotes trypomastigotes formed tufts or compact layers. Trypanosomes attached to cuticle by their flagella, which zonar hemidesmosomes. flagella mostly parallel axis labrum often pointed its tip. Foot-like processes came into contact with adjacent leading dense grouping trypanosomes. Despite narrow contacts between no desmosomes differentiated. trypanosomes all parts LCI sensilla might thus impair function. Uncoated coated forms present labrum, indicated that transformation metacyclic is not strictly limited hypopharynx. common salivary duct hypopharynx Coated could also be attached. Neither layers nor found. This may partly explain low number metacyclics deposited when flies probed on a warm glass slide.
