摘要: We propose a novel method to measure high voltages using an extrinsic Fabry–Perot interferometer. The (FP) cavity consists of graded index fiber collimator and polyester diaphragm. film is aluminized on the outside used as grounding electrode. A uniform electric field produced between voltage electrode when applied. shifts under pull field, causing FP become elongated. applied electrode, measurements are realized by detecting shift in spectrum for sensor. sensor can DC range 5–16 kV. measurement accuracy 1.21% at 5–10 kV 0.61% 10–16
