Prostate angiosarcoma: is there any association with previous radiation therapy?

摘要: For the current review a literature search was carried out using Pubmed, EmBase, and Cochrane databases. All cases of prostate angioscaroma reported to date observational studies evaluating radiation associated cancer occurrence were reviewed. Despite rarity, angiosarcomas display remarkable clinical pathological heterogeneity, treatment challenge. We found association angiosarcoma with therapy be weak based upon results from case reports. Although exposure has been suggested etiology angiosarcomas, assumption such is not supported by literature.
