摘要: The aim of the present study was to verify hypothesis that cavity design does not affect strength direct composite restorations as do material properties. Finite element modeling (FEM) and empirical testing were done for two designs: a box shape (cube) concave (U). Two microhybrid composites used prepare samples with help split stainless steel moulds. Compressive tested. results statistically analyzed. Both FEA complementary each other in showed significantly higher than box. Material properties affected values only when used. null is thus rejected, it concluded affects restorations.
