摘要: Ultrasonic imaging algorithms, including detection and compression, are computationally complex difficult to implement in hardware for real-time applications. In this paper, we present an ultrasonic reconfigurable subband decomposition processor (RSDP) that can employ wavelet filters frequency diverse signal processing. This architecture enables parallel implementation of a lifting-based discrete transform. The configurability the applies selection kernels scales decomposition, thresholding operation postprocessing algorithm. underlying design makes use fact both compression applications share same algorithm fundamentals. A unified has been designed implements reconstruction with forward inverse transforms. After transform step, windowing is applied discriminate bands target detection. Using architecture, coefficients data compression. flexibility modular make effective practical solution resulting adaptable, fast, suitable system-on-a-chip requires minimal logic resources.
