摘要: Mandarin peels were investigated for the removal of copper ions from ethanol fuel. Infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis used elucidating possible functional groups responsible adsorption Cu(II) ethanol. The influence parameters such as mass adsorbent, sample pH, stirring time, initial copper(II) concentration was using multivariate optimization strategies. optimum conditions a pH value 7.0, time 10.0 min, an 6.0 mg L-1, adsorbent 95.0 mg. sorption data fitted satisfactorily to Langmuir Freundlich isotherm models. mandarin peel presented maximum capacity 2.71 g-1 is low-cost, which makes it suitable
