摘要: The frustule of diatoms, unicellular microalgae, shows very interesting photonic features, generally related to its complicated and quasi-periodic micro- nano-structure. In order simulate light propagation inside through this natural structure, it is important develop three-dimensional (3D) models for synthetic replica with high spatial resolution. paper, we present a new method that generates images microscopic diatoms definition, by merging scanning electron microscopy digital holography or atomic force data. Starting from two images, both acquired separately standard characterization procedures, resolution (Δz = λ/20, Δx Δy ≅ 100 nm, at least) 3D model the object has been generated. Then, sets data have processed matrix formalism, using an original mathematical algorithm implemented on commercially available software. developed methodology could be also broad interest in design fabrication micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems.
