摘要: Biological control of take-all by Phialophora radicicola Cain and similar fungi is reviewed, new evidence presented on the possible role hyper-parasites, like Pythium oligandrum Drechsler, to augment this. Phialophora var. graminicola Deacon abundant in British grasslands. Its biological has been demonstrated glasshouse with natural soils population levels this agent. Also there much circumstantial for its beneficial agriculture, especially cereal monoculture following grass crops, amenity Some other glasshouse, but their roles current agricultural practice are not known. The fungus, itself, can reduce infection roots P. radicicola, so a dynamic interaction between these fungi. This affected host type, relative inoculum potentials fungi, possibly environmental conditions. By careful manipulation, therefore, it might be under wide range field conditions. The chief delay establishment severe early monoculture, rather than combat an existing high disease level. It may therefore desirable combine different biocontrols, hyperparasites important respect. fungus was tested against varieties Gaeumannomyces graminis Arx & Olivier laboratory; responses differed greatly, from marked susceptibility (P. radicicola) almost complete resistance (G. graminis). Hence, used alter field, first behaviour must studied.
