摘要: Abstract Four different flavonoids (phloretin, phlorizin, naringenin and naringin) were evaluated in terms of antioxidant activity. Their ability permeating porcine skin retention was also tested. The permeated amount for cytotoxic hemolytic properties. In vitro percutaneous absorption through excised studied with Franz-type diffusion cells. Antioxidant activity measured a system employing rat liver microsomes, followed by thiobarbituric acid reacting substances (TBARS)-test. Haemolytic analyzed blood cytotoxicity using MTT the BrdU test L-929 studies demonstrated distinct antioxidative properties all concentration 1% (w/w), which correlated applied hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) hydrogels. aglyca phloretin exerted significantly higher than glycosides phlorizin naringin. All tested could be retained. amounts showed, on one hand, no hemoglobin release and, other, relevant cytotoxicity. Phloretin, naringin featured high effect without side effects. Therefore, per se as non-toxic plant components may excellent candidates formulations to prevent photo-aging photo-damaging.
