摘要: Patients suffering from anorexia nervosa were studied to determine whether gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) could induce the hormonal changes which occur during normal puberty. Three amenorrheic patients at low body weight (less than 70%ideal BW). All three prepubertal, as evidenced by immature LH and FSH responses t o a standard GnRH test (2.5 eg/kg BW) absence of spontaneous peaks both day sleep. Low doses (0.025–0.05 eg/kg), aimed producing peak plasma values approximately 200 pg/ml, given i v bolus injection every 2 h for 5 days. Plasma FSH, LH, estradiol measured RIA.
