Virtual chains for session initiation in a distributed computer network

摘要: A method for establishing and maintaining virtual chains in a distributed computer network during session initiation. In transmitting initiation request from an originating node to destination node, locate chain is established along the path taken with control block resources dedicated at each intermediate node. By sending reply discard indicator set, nodes become immediately available only servers maintain knowledge of pending route selected.
