摘要: We describe how 3D affine measurements may be computed from a single perspective view of scene given only minimal geometric information determined the image. This is typically vanishing line reference plane, and point for direction not parallel to plane. It shown that structure then image, without knowledge camera's internal calibration (e.g. focal length), nor explicit relation between camera world (pose). In particular, we show (i) compute distance planes plane (up common scale factor)s (ii) area length ratios on any (iii) determine location. Simple derivations are these results. also develop an algebraic representation which unifies three types measurement and, amongst other advantages, permits first order error propagation analysis performed, associating uncertainty with each measurement. We demonstrate technique variety applications, including height in forensic images graphical modelling images.
